Credit Counselling Society Wins Consumer Choice Award in Winnipeg, Manitoba<\/h1>\r\n

The Credit <\/strong><\/span>Counselling<\/strong> Society<\/strong> is proud to announce that our clients in Manitoba have recognized us with the 2013 Consumer Choice Award<\/strong> for Winnipeg. Two members of our <\/span>counselling team, Christi Posner and Sandra Fry, attended the awards celebration on June 26 to accept the award on behalf of the whole organization.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Christi Posner and Sandra Fry accepted the Winnipeg <\/em><\/span>2013 Consumer Choice Award on behalf of the Credit Counselling Society.<\/em><\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<\/tbody>\r\n<\/table>\r\n

\u201cThe 2013 Consumer Choice Award is an exciting win for the Credit Counselling Society!\u201d shared Christi. \u201cWe feel honoured to have been selected the people\u2019s choice for credit and debt counselling. We work hard each and every day to help consumers find the right solutions to resolve their financial difficulties, and we are thankful to the consumers of Winnipeg for trusting our help and guidance.\u201d<\/p>\r\n

Personal Money Management \u2013 Help with Budgeting and Debt<\/h2>\r\n

Our Winnipeg office opened over 7 years ago and since that time has helped countless individuals and families with budgeting, dealing with debt and learning how to use credit wisely. Attending the awards ceremony also gave Christi and Sandra the chance to talk to other winners and share how the Credit Counselling Society can help their staff.<\/p>\r\n

How We Help Employers and Employees \u2013 Workshops, Webinars and Presentations<\/h2>\r\n

As Sandra noted, \u201cThere are so many ways we can help employees be more focused and productive at work. If someone is concerned about their debts, their work suffers. Our Educators can do Lunch and Learn workshops for employee groups, help people understand budgeting better, and most importantly, let them know that we\u2019re here to help. Our counselling is free, so there\u2019s no reason not to ask us for help.\u201d<\/p>\r\n

Providing knowledgeable, industry-leading client service and innovative solutions to help Manitobans get their finances back on track is integral to the work of the Society. The dedication and hard work of everyone at CCS helped make this award possible.<\/p>\r\n
